He was the son of Christian Martin (1669-1748) and Elizabeth Ells Martin (1672-1732).Christian married Magdalena Krehbiel Schneider (1695-1770) at Berwangen, Heilbronn, Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany in 1716. Magdalena was the daughter of Ulrich Krehbiel (1655-1724) (Don't know why their last names are different) and Barbara Widner (1658-1717).Christian and Magdalena Schneider Martin were the parents of the following 10 known children: Frances Veronica Martin (1725–1803), Magdalena Martin (1731–1758), Barbara Martin (1734–), Christian Martin (1743–1792), David, Elizabeth, Jacob, Mary, Fronica and Henry Martin.Christian died in 1758 in Manor, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, United States.
